Random Control Ensemble
Das Prinzip des Random Control Ensemble ist improvisierte Musik, die sich aus klassisch inspirierter Motivik und dem spontanen Loopen dieser speist. Akustisch gespielte Instrumente werden live aufgenommen, zerhackt, wiederholt, verfremdet und den MusikerInnen zurückgespielt. Dadurch entsteht ein Kreislauf aus Improvisation, der sich stetig weiterentwickelt. Er kann von verträumten Soundsphären bis zu Noise-artiger Maschinenmusik reichen. Nichts ist festgelegt, jeder entscheidet aus dem Moment heraus. Dadurch ist kein Konzert wie das andere.
The principle of the Random Control Ensemble is improvised music, which is fed by classically inspired motifs and the spontaneous looping of them. Instruments played acoustically are recorded live, chopped up, repeated, distorted and played back to the musicians. This creates a cycle of improvisation that is constantly evolving. It can range from dreamy sound spheres to noise-like machine music. Nothing is fixed, everyone decides at the moment. This means that no two concerts are the same.

Knitting Machine
Ein Track zum Experimentieren mit Sampling Techniken. Zu Beginn baut sich der Track aus mit Granularsynthese bearbeiteten Teilen eines improvisierten Bartok Klavier/Kontrabass Stücks, ab der zweiten Hälfte wurden alle Sounds aus Aufnahmen einer historischen Strickmaschine erstellt.
A track for experimenting with sampling techniques. At the beginning the track is made up of parts of an improvised Bartok piano/double bass piece processed with granular synthesis, from the second half onwards all the sounds were created from recordings of a historical knitting machine.

Bei diesem Projekt habe ich mir zur Aufgabe gesetzt aus Fehlern Musik zu machen. Indem ich mit dem Variieren von Granularitäten, Thresholds und Anderem experimentierte, habe ich Musik mit kontrollierten Zufällen und Glitches arrangiert. Mit diesem Track habe ich beim Produzentenwettbewerb auf dem Nürnberg Digital Festival 2019 gewonnen.
With this project I set myself the task of making music out of mistakes. By experimenting with varying granularities, thresholds, and more, I arranged music with controlled coincidences and glitches. With this track I entered the Producer Competition at the Nuremberg Digital Festival Won in 2019.

ensemble fraktale
Das ensemble fraktale formierte sich 2016 in Nürnberg. Es setzt sich zusammen aus Musikern, sowie Künstlern aus den Bereichen Tanzperformance und digitaler Medien. Es ist dem Ensemble ein großes Anliegen, die Qualitäten und Aussagen verschiedener künstlerischer Ausdrucksweisen zu kombinieren, z.B. der klassischen-, Jazz- und der Neuen Musik, der Komposition, des Tanzes, der Filmkunst und der elektronischen Musik. Das Ensemble ist Gewinner des Hugo Wettbewerbs der Montforter Zwischentöne 2017.
The ensemble fractale was formed in Nuremberg in 2016. It is made up of musicians and artists from the fields of dance performance and digital media. It is very important to the ensemble to promote the qualities and statements of various artistic works Combining modes of expression, e.g. classical, jazz and new music Composition, dance, film art and electronic music. The ensemble is the winner of the Hugo Competition of the Montforter ZwischenTONe 2017.
